Judy Woodruff talks with Marjorie Taylor Greene, chairwoman of Women for Trump, to get her take on the midterms, Democratic prospects for gain and what members of the House could do after Republicans lose.
In the first of two seats still up for grabs on Tuesday in Colorado’s U.S. House race, Republican incumbent Doug Lamborn is locking horns with Democrat Jason Crow in the 5th District, which covers much of Colorado Springs, the state capital and the home of the U.S. Air Force Academy.
Young Americans for Freedom, a pro-Trump Christian conservative organization, has a web ad up, calling Crow a “modern-day Harry Potter.”
Republicans, meanwhile, are closing in on a win in the battle to represent Texas’ 23rd District. Former prosecutor Lizzie Pannill Fletcher is trying to take down Republican Rep. Will Hurd, but could face a tough path to victory in a district President Donald Trump won by almost 12 points in 2016.
